Questions? Answers!

What is the leagues format?

Scramle leagues are 2-Person Scramble Format. In a 2-Person Scramble Format, the players or designated team captain, decide after each shot which one the team wants to play from next. This format is played out throughout the entire hole.

If you have ever played in a charity scramble, then you get it. Each league night will consist of a bay hosting 2 teams competing head-to-head in a 9-hole scramble

Mixed Format (a.k.a., Ryder Cup Format), are 2-person teams playing 3 differing formats: Best Ball (known as Scramble), Alternate Shot (you and your teammate take turns hitting the same ball), and Four-Ball (you play your own ball but take the lowest score per hole between you and your team mate).

How is the league scoring handled?

Points are awarded in two ways; by winning or tying your head to head match, and by your score relative to the whole field. These points are added up throughout the season and will determine the league night champ which will give you entry into the season championship.

Simulator rules

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to time slot to ensure that payment and setup allows play to start on time, make sure you are wearing clean shoes or sneakers (no spikes!) and make sure your clubs and grooves are clean

Do I need a handicap to play in the league?

You do not need a handicap; all skill levels are welcome. We will score based on the gross for the entire season except for playoffs.

How many players can I have on a team?

You can have 3 people on a team although only 2 will be playing at a time during each league night. If you are unable to make a night, you will have 2 who still can. If more than 2 players are unable to make the league night you can still compete but it will be as a single. If all 3 players are unable to make the night, they forfeit the round and will be charged an additional $25 each on the next league night.

Do I need to bring my own clubs?

We always encourage you to bring your own clubs, but if you need, we do rent clubs

Do I need to create an AG locker account?

We always encourage you to bring your own clubs, but if you need, we do rent clubs

Golf is the only game where you yell fore, shoot six, and write down five.
